About Neurospecial

Neurospecial is on a mission to create workplaces where neurodivergent talent doesn’t just feel supported—it thrives. By helping organisations tackle challenges like high turnover and low productivity, Neurospecial fosters a culture of inclusion that empowers teams to reach their full potential. Through practical training, inspiring talks, and hands-on consulting, they turn inclusivity into a superpower for innovation and success. Led by a neurodiverse team, their approach is grounded in lived experience and measurable impact.

StoryBrand

We used the StoryBrand framework to clarify Neurospecial’s message and resonate with their target audience. Together, we identified their clients’ internal, external, and philosophical challenges, focusing on how Neurospecial could empathise with these struggles while demonstrating their expertise in solving them.

The framework helped us craft a clear, simple process that explained how clients’ problems could be resolved, alleviating doubts and building trust. We also defined their primary call to action and outlined what success and failure might look like from their clients’ perspectives—bringing clarity and focus to their brand communication.

Inspiration

In our initial meeting, we explored competitor brands and websites, along with examples from other industries, to gather fresh inspiration. This analysis helped us identify features that would elevate Neurospecial’s online presence while staying true to their core values.

Concept

With a clear understanding of Neurospecial’s goals, I developed a visual direction for their brand. I presented two potential logo concepts, and the team chose the one with interlocking shapes. This design perfectly symbolises the collaboration and inclusivity Neurospecial helps organisations achieve.

The original brand colours (blue, yellow, and orange) were slightly muted, so I made them more vibrant to better reflect the diversity, innovation and energy that Neurospecial embodies.

  • Interlocking shapes: Represent collaboration and inclusivity—core values of Neurospecial.
  • Vibrant colours: Communicate energy, diversity, and innovation.
  • Simplified and versatile: The logo works beautifully across different mediums and sizes, from social media to presentations.
  • Neurospecial shorthand: The abstract shapes can also be perceived as an interlocking ‘n’ and ‘s’.

Illustrations and Graphics

I incorporated abstract geometric illustrations that complement the logo’s shapes. These were used throughout the website to create a cohesive and visually engaging design.

Typeface

I’ve selected Clarika, a modern geometric sans-serif typeface that pairs seamlessly with the clean, professional aesthetic of the logo.

Social Media and Applications

The new logo and brand elements translate effortlessly to social media, maintaining their clarity and impact even at smaller sizes.

Web Design and Development

The website design process began with a sitemap and low-fidelity wireframes, created using Octopus. These wireframes served as a foundation for crafting initial copy and designing each section of the site. After reviewing and refining the content and visuals, I developed the website using Webflow.

Webflow was the ideal platform for this project because it empowers Neurospecial to easily make updates and upload blog posts in the future. It also allowed me to deliver a responsive, accessible, and interactive website in just a few days.

The updated website and brand are designed to connect with Neurospecial’s audience on a deeper level. The vibrant visuals, clear messaging, and intuitive navigation reflect the organisation’s inclusive ethos, making potential clients feel understood and valued from the moment they visit.

By aligning the site’s design and content with the needs and aspirations of their audience, Neurospecial is now better positioned to build trust and inspire action. Whether it’s a leader looking for training or a team seeking guidance, the new website makes it easy for clients to see themselves in the solutions Neurospecial offers.
